Each level course consists of 2 modules of 36 hours each. Costs:

  • Courses with 6-8 participants have 36 hours of training. The cost per participant is € 538,00.
  • Courses with 3-5 participants have 30 hours of training. The cost per participant is € 670,00.
  • Courses with 2 participants have 30 hours of training at € 917,00 per participant.

No matter whether you are an absolute beginner or speak fluently already, this six-level training programme gives you the opportunity to make noticeable progress in communicating effectively in a German business environment.

The transfer of staff and management, to and from Germany, is part of our company’s strategy to meet the demands of globalisation. With this international corporate background in mind, these modules aim to structure the progress of colleagues from outside Germany towards professional communicative competence. A good knowledge of German is an important factor in motivating those who see themselves as links in our international business.

Online level assessment by LTC. If necessary, we will also arrange for an oral assessment with a LTC Trainer.

Course Description

Business German – Level 1/A1

Contents (of parts A and B)

Structured building up of vocabulary and grammar, in both general and career-specific situations, amongst other things:

    • saying hello and goodbye, introducing yourself
    • asking for and giving directions
    • talking about you and your job
    • asking about dates, prices and telephone numbers
    • arranging meetings and appointments
    • exchanging information on the telephone
    • describing what you have to do at work
    • understanding and telling the time
    • making appointments on the phone and in writing
    • understanding instructions and work procedures

Every type of learner is addressed through the use of different media.
Dynamic, interactive training, practice-orientated situational exercises and role-plays enable you to quickly and safely apply what you have learned.

Participants

Everybody who has job-related contact with German customers, business partners and colleagues. Learners with basic knowledge who would like to acquire special language skills for their career.

Business German – Level 2/A2

Contents (of parts A and B)

Structured building up of vocabulary and grammar, in both general and career-specific situations, amongst other things:

      • presenting products and services
      • describing the organisation of a large company
      • understanding circulars, brochures and publicity material
      • understanding and giving instructions at work
      • explaining work-related problems
      • handling basic business correspondence
      • giving a short presentation of your own work
      • presenting product sheets, manuals and PR material
      • interpreting diagrams and graphics

Every type of learner is addressed through the use of different media.
Dynamic, interactive training, practice-orientated situational exercises and role-plays enable you to quickly and safely apply what you have learned.

Participants

Everybody who has job-related contact with German customers, business partners and colleagues. Learners with basic knowledge who would like to acquire special language skills for their career.

      • summarising business and technical texts in writing
      • writing minutes of meetings
      • presenting problems from your own area of work
      • giving presentations to customers
      • explaining specifications
      • asking for and giving detailed information in writing
      • discussing commercial conditions

Participants

Participation in Business German Level 2 or equivalent knowledge of German.

      • managing transfer talks
      • describing features in detail
      • writing standard business letters
      • discussing business and social issues
      • handling difficult talks with customers (complaints, warranties)
      • comparing international markets
